About Epic Grasp

Epic Grasp was created with one vision in mind. Make people successful.

We do this by increasing communication within teams, creating efficiencies, slashing inefficient and cost draining activities, driving transformations, and ultimately, making you a success. With a background in Agile, we truly run as a lean and efficient entity. Not only do we this for ourselves, it’s exactly what we teach to our clients.

We’ve developed our programs, services, and content to highlight, fix, and address real problems. Every article, every video, every course, every blog is thought out, planned, and created in direct response to what we’ve seen or heard at our clients. Let’s face it, there’s a lot of people who call themselves coaches, and there’s a lot of people that call themselves Agile experts. What we do different is we actively drive, each and every day, our clients into more efficient processes, to push them to better, higher, or alternative revenue streams, to optimize IT and development efforts, and to increase profitability. The true testament to our success is how well you do, and that’s our #1 goal.

DEFINITION: GREAT COACH

Before defining how Epic Grasp could be different, we first wanted to answer one important question, what makes a great Coach? We’ve defined a great coach as someone who:

  1. Is relatable to the people they are coaching
  2. Is generous, willing to the share their wisdom and knowledge
  3. Can articulate roadmap, changes, and challenges that are attainable
  4. Is productive and efficient in the way they deliver
  5. Is honest, and ethical in how they behave
  6. Has a greater self-awareness
  7. Is great at communication
  8. Can create a team oriented environment of overall team ownership
  9. Creates an environment with less stress, better health, and better output
  10. Can create an environment where people trust
  11. Is passionate about making their clients successful, over delivering documentation or processes they don’t understand.
  12. and finally: Checks their Ego at the door

Jamie Pompu

CEO | Founder | Coach

I have an education in Computer Technology with a background in computer programming. When I was entering the workforce, jobs were hard to come by. Instead, I worked my way into Bell (Intrigna at the time) as a data entry operator, into their finance team as a technical resource, and then ultimately into development (my end goal at the time). The benefit of this route was I spent time as “The Business” on IT related projects before entering IT.

While in the technology space I’ve been a developer, an architect, a team lead, a business analyst, a quality assurance coordinator, a project manager, a business owner, an entrepreneur, and a coach. I’ve quite literally worn every hat on purpose. I wanted to fully understand how everyone behaves. I wanted to understand their issues, what they need, and what makes them efficient. We did Agile in my first job, and I’ve been doing it every since. To me, it’s a methodology that compliments the way I naturally think. I’ve been doing this for over 18 years from “idea-on-a-napkin” entrepreneurs to Fortune 100 companies. I’ve worked with, coached, trained, or talked in front of over 200 people.

I built Epic Grasp to be different. It takes everything I’ve learned, through good experiences and bad, and applies those lessons to your business. I have a personal sense of accomplishment when my clients succeed. With Epic Grasp, my goal is to experience that as often as I can.
